FoxNews & Pittsburgh Steelers Neurosurgeon on How You Can Fight Aging

(Pittsburgh Steelers video under Fox News video)

Last month, Fox News aired this segment about the emerging anti-aging science and research on resveratrol, a natural antioxidant found in grape skins and red wine.  Billions of dollars are being spent by pharmaceutical companies to develop a Fountain of Youth pill, and it’s all centered around resveratrol.  That is five or more years away, but some of the same science and research that has been happening for years has already brought us the world’s only cellular anti-aging tonic with resveratrol and polyphenols from a super (muscadine) grape.

20 year neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers (GO WORLD CHAMPION PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!), Dr. Joseph Maroon, has written a book called The Longevity Factor, about how resveratrol and red wine activate genes for a longer and healthier life.  It’s not about simply living to an older age, it is about fighting the diseases of aging and keeping our bodies younger.

Dr. Joseph Maroon discusses Vivix, and the resveratrol and muscadine grape ingredients that are part of its formulation, in The Longevity Factor, pages 70 and 193 (video also available on this Amazon site where the book is sold).  There is also a great book review and references (praise) posted on this Simon and Schuster website.*

Vivix is a resveratrol product unique to any supplement currently on the market.  With essentially 100% pure resveratrol, this patent-pending formulation that also contains polyphenols from a super (muscadine) grape is 10X more powerful than resveratrol alone and is manufactured by the #1 Natural Nutrition company in the United States.  Years of science and research, partnerships with the world’s leading anti-aging researchers and Harvard University, and the exclusive forumulation, are all part of this revolutionary, pharmaceutical grade, anti-aging tonic.

Let’s look at the comprehensive product development steps that make cellular anti-aging benefits available exclusively to you right now.. not five (or more) years from now.

The Shaklee Corporation has a 52+ year legacy of products developed through science and research.  Creating products that deliver results are testament to the dedication the brand has to changing peoples’ lives.  Vivix is the most complex product in company history.  This brand is the first to create and isolate a unique profile of polyphenols shown in laboratory studies to fight cellular aging, and then to develop a patent-pending extraction process to harness the polyphenol profile of one of the key ingredients, and finally to secure the entire output from the largest and best growers in the world.

Being on the forefront of this emerging scientific research has made it possible for folks to have the opportunity right now to fight aging and the diseases of aging, and to choose to live a longer, healthier life.

*Dr. Joseph Maroon is a distinguished surgeon and a professor of Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  He is a lifelong athlete, and competed in more than fifty triathlons and three Hawaiian Ironman Championship competition.  His book is heralded as a groundbreaking examination of new scientific research that holds the secret to weight loss, increased strength, endurance, memory, and a healthier, longer life.  I do not know that he is associated directly with The Shaklee Corporation, or Vivix, but was delighted to see his highly respected reference to both in his book.

  1. Extremely interesting blog post on resveratrol. I’ve heard a lot about it, but haven’t found a source worth looking at yet. Well…until now. Since I am on the downhill side of my years here, I am more motivated to make the rest of my years as good as possible. I’ve found great sources for many of the antioxidants, CoQ10 and others, but not this. And there is only so much red wine you can drink in a day. Thanks again for your post. I’ll investigate the links you reference.

  2. Great article. It’s wonderful to see the discoveries that medical researchers (not necessarily those practicing medicine)are making relative to the biochemical components important to our health. Though a natural move by most pharmaceutical companies maybe to synthesize the chemicals, this process misses all the related compounds found in the natural parent materials. Supplements produced by concentrating the biochemicals like resveratrol are more likely to include other components that should enhance our bodies use of these important supplements.

  3. Great
things you’ve always shared with us. Just keep writing this kind of posts. The
time which was wasted in traveling for tuition now it can be used for
    studies.Thanks
