Liquid Resveratrol: Vivix for My All Day Alertness and Better Sleep

This past month I did a little test on a product called VIVIX, a liquid resveratrol product that I have been taking daily for almost two years now.  I stopped taking Vivix for about three weeks.

Resveratrol is made from red wine and its purpose is to help you live longer by making your cells healthier to fight the diseases of aging. Right now it is available in a natural supplement form, though there is aggressive research being done to make a pharmaceutical resveratrol form.

The serving size of Vivix (the brand I use) is only 1 teaspoon per day and it is equal to the resveratrol in 100 glasses of red wine. That’s because Shaklee combines resveratrol with polyphenols from the ‘super’ muscadine grape and the combination is 10 times more powerful than resveratrol alone.

Resveratrol, metabolism and your cells.

I don’t know about you but for me there are things that happen in terms of the way you feel or something hurting that you tend to ‘put up with’ instead of addressing right away. These are things that affect your quality of life.

Three things that I re-discovered last week when I started taking Vivix again were the same 3 things that I liked about it when I first started using it. Now I have a new appreciation for these things that I don’t have to live without. We don’t have to ‘put up’ with anything less than feeling great everyday!

Calorie Restriction Linked to Anti-Aging Resveratrol

If you did not see the CBS 60 minutes feature on resveratrol.. have a look at the video below.  In addition to all of its anti-aging benefits, research on the benefits of not only disease prevention but current disease, AND the healthy side benefits folks are experiencing, resveratrol is the most exciting thing we have right now in our quest to live more (quality) years.

While a ‘pill’ might be years away, it is fascinating how the same scientist from Harvard who is interviewed in this video about discovering the link to resveratrol is the same one that partnered in developing our  brand’s natural resveratrol supplement, the world’s only cellular anti-aging tonic (something we do have available right now).  I remember personally hearing him say that he takes this brand faithfully every day, and how excited he was about the potential of what this natural supplement can do for us.

The idea that we may have something available to us that can potentially trick our body into thinking it is on a calorie restriction diet is an amazing thing.  A calorie restriction diets is the one true way to manage our weight, and yet we can’t do it on our own because we have to cut too many calories on a daily basis.

Resveratrol Supplement of the Highest Quality

We all know (as we’re inundated with exposure) that there are many, many resveratrol supplements on the market today.

Don’t we all want to live longer?  But not just grow older.. feel good, feel younger, have better quality of life?

So we are watching all of this anti-aging research that is happening and what is being produced out of that.

What makes one brand different from another?  Quality?  Efficacy?  Safety?  Performance?  All of the above?

Since natural food supplements are still unregulated, all of these factors are important because we want to make sure that the money we spend is going to produce the results we want and of course that we are safe.  We aren’t looking for a resveratrol product that has miniscule amounts of active ingredient, or is unpure and might result in digestive issues we don’t want, or simply isn’t good quality to make much of a difference.
